I was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana. I was blessed with awesome parents and a younger brother who I am still very close with today! Growing up I admired my fourth grade teacher, and knew that teaching was the profession for me! As a kid I was very fortunate to go on several vacations with my parents and grandparents. I have traveled to 46 of the 50 states and 6 countries! I think that is why I like social studies so much! I also played a lot of tennis and basketball growing up.
I attended Butler University, and graduated in 2009 with my B.S. in Elementary Education! I absolutely loved Butler; the College of Education had a wonderful teaching program and I met so many great people there. I am an avid fan of the Bulldogs and love watching their events, especially the basketball team!
My husband, Tommy, and I were married on September 10th, 2010! We currently live in the Midtown area of Indianapolis. We have a lot of fun together and enjoy making each other laugh! We are expecting our first baby at the end of October!
I love spending time with my family, and it keeps us on the go! My parents and grandparents are still in Auburn, my other grandparents and extended family are in Southern Indiana, and my husband's family is in in St. Louis. I love Jesus and trust in his ways and try my best to live out the "Golden Rule." I could eat a variation of pizza or ice cream almost everyday and I have a slight obsession with Target!
